Ran out of steam.

There’s a huge gap between my posts almost all the time…
I tried making comics about the trip to Carmel Beach/Water Rafting again and swimming and watching movies with Maily but it seemed like a tacky, “LOOK GUYS. I HAVE FRRIIEEENNDDSS!!” comics. And it’s not like I need to advertise I have friends.

EVERY OTHER MONTH OR…THREE…OR SOMETHING.
…QQ. I have no idea how to organize my 21st birthday party if it should be in San Jose or San Francisco.

I’m having trouble editing this to flow because these are basically a compilation of comics with some that need explanation but they’re not related to each other at all, I’ve been skipping around to make it more concise but it’s not working. Also, a majority of this was done during class in the Cintiq lab.See how off topic and jarring that was.

BUT YEAH ANYWAY SAN FRANCISCO. I’ve been living here for a while! Here’s how my old apartment looked like

While I complained-braggedtold everyone how my room was less than 100 square feet. I never minded the size. No. My previous comics would tell you that I avoided using the kitchen and the pee on the seats were unbearable.

Also the fact I had no internet. At all.
Also the fact I regret sticking my desk next to the window…I got the occasional “Eyes awkwardly meeting” but also:

But now I’ve moved four blocks to a newly remodeled apartment! I’m sharing it with Yolanda and Vi, who are super better illustrators than me.
So between all the moving back and forth hauling my mom and grandma had to endure with us (since my sister was also moving), we forgot to furnish some things.

ALWAYS PICK THE GOOD STUFF WHERE IT COUNTS GUYS.
Also, I pretty much transferred the second hand bookshelf and desk up to the apartment. While it’s compact (read: tiny) and sturdy, it’s not as cool as Vi’s, which has her collection of fanart/inspiring art she likes under a glass pane cover. After seeing such a nicer desk in comparison, I felt like I needed to spruce my desk up.

Also random comics I made notes out to write during summer semester. But I don’t remember why they were supposed to be funny. They’re pretty autobiographical, and I might as well put these out since I forgot the rest.

Also I watched Thor with my classmates during spring. I feel like storyboard has made me more aware of how shots are set up to have more meaning or induce us to feel a certain way.

I never seen Harry Potter 4 and 5, so I had a total “AHA!” moment in Order of Phoenix when Harry removes the Prophecy, and the shot is framed in such a way that Neville is standing right where the crystal ball was even though they never mention his connection to it.

Also when I watched the last movie with my sister

Like the aftereffects of reading the sixth Harry Potter book. I’m riding on a fan buzz of it. I had a hardcore Snily spree until I reread the Prince’s Tale in the book (for reference in the first picture) and I was like, “Okay this wasn’t as romantic as I remembered it. In fact, it’s kind of creepy the way she writes how “hungry” he looks like.”

So now I’ve gone into the dark side of Maple videos. delaran does have good taste in trance/dance/?? music, but some people are seriously creepy with their “heroes”.
I don’t want to spam the middle on my post with youtube links because I’ll be doing that at the end, but these are fun to replay over and over.

I got a new phone.

The price dropped by 60 dollars when the new iPhone 4S came out though…poor planning on my part.
BUT NOW I TAKE A LOT OF PICTURES.
